It has dedicated jets built in for the top silverware rack and also has slots that hold them on their sides too.

Water jets located on the middle rotating spray arm are specifically designed to target the silverware basket regardless of placement of the basket around the outside perimeter of the lower rack. I love this tray for my oversized spoons and cooking utensils. Also if your not using the jets under the silverware tray they also provide additional water to silverware tray.
