“Can the brackets be placed on the side for a side mount installation?”

• Hello and thank you for reaching out about this excellent dishwasher. If the countertop is constructed of a hard material such as granite, the unit can be mounted to the side cabinets instead. Just follow Method 2 in the installation instructions. Thanks! - JB

• According to the manual, yes. (ie. granite counter top) The manual shows side mounted tie down straps.
