As the description says it has front controls. The door handle is built in under the control panel on the white model.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently bought the GE white dishwasher. There is no handle per say, there is an indention for you to grip and pull to open and push to close. The controls are digital in a strip right above the open/close indention. It is a nice and fairly quiet machine.
