Hello Tcully. All portable dishwasher models have rubber or plastic hoses that connect to the sink. Portable fill and drain hoses will extend out 35" from the left rear top corner of the dishwasher as you face the dishwasher. The power cord will extend 5 feet from the left rear top corner as you face the dishwasher. Thanks for checking. Olga
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Agree 35" is a stretch as far as useful distance is concerned. You should also be mindful of which corner. Mine came with the opening on the top left corner as you face the front of the dishwasher. So if the faucet is to the left of the dishwasher you would have 30". If the faucet is to the right of the unit you have 6" to work with. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong ... is this an option I didn't see? is it reconfigurable? I'm feeling pretty foolish for not realizing what a big deal this is. I have to return it or wheel it all the way across the room to use it and I will attempt a return. .
