“Does this model have a heating element to dry items during a wash cycle?”

• This dishwasher does not have a heating element. Therefore dishwasher does not have any heated dry setting. Manual which comes with dishwasher says to open the door once cycle ends to help with drying process. Basically air drys your dishes. Called GE appliance parts department who confirmed this model does not have a heating element in the dishwasher for drying.

• No. If you wash on sanitize mode, a lot of water will heat off, but still wet dishes.
