As a built-in appliance, dishwashers do not typically include a power cord as they are wired in directly. If you have the available outlet for your unit, an optional cord can be purchased to complete the installation. The optional cord kits are: GPFCORD - WX09X70910, or WX09X70911.

Please try again later.I'm a woman consumer shopper, not an expert or installer, but the way I understand it new dishwashers are, or can be, directly hard wired into a circuit in the house. I personally don't like this method and purchased a cord because I plug my dishwasher into a Tripp Lite surge protector which I turn on and off when I utilize my dishwasher. I found my Bosch dishwasher would be on and flashing when power came back on after an outage. Not actually running and operating, but I don't like this action.
