Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Anonymous, I just got this machine. I figured out sadly that the height adjusting is not a cake walk. There are no controls. You literally have to take out the top rack and slide it into another roller wheel. But yes, the spacing could come in handy sometimes. I have noticed other models have a lever which you can press and lift up and down. That would have been much easier. But probably this was a cost cutting measure. Thanks

I have not figured out how to adjust the height or if that can be since we have had no issues with our stemware & tall travel mugs fitting into this machine. There is a whirlpool model ,which I had on my previous home that is very affordable and a good stainless match, that does have an easily adjustable top rack you might consider is this is a necessity for you.
