“How can I tell when the dishwasher has completed the job ? GE dishwasher model GDT 226 (ADAcompliant)”

• It has a "Clean" indicator light -- but with the control panel on top, the lights are hidden when the door is closed! Not a great design. Looking directly at the gap I can see that just one light is on when the cycle is finished.

• Hi Liza - The GDT226SSLSS has an audible end-of-cycle signal. When the wash cycle is complete, the dishwasher will signal with a beep. There is also a Clean indictor light on the top control panel. Thanks for your interest! Sue
