A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for your interest in our GE refrigerators! We know how important finding a refrigerator that fits your space while also having enough internal capacity is, and we’re glad to assist. The model you asked this question on, GSS25IYNFS, is a 25.1 cubic ft. size that has dimensions of 69 1/2 H x 35 3/4 W x 34 3/4 D, so it may be a little large for your space; we regret any inconvenience that may cause. We have many other refrigerators available, which vary in both cubic ft. and dimensions. While the cubic ft. and dimensions will depend on the specific model, we can advise that in general if you need smaller dimensions to fit your space, the cubic ft. may be 21.9 or less. For example, GTS22KYNRFS (21.0 cu ft.) has dimensions of 66 3/8 H x 32 3/4 W x 34 1/2 D while GTE21GSHSS (21.1 cu ft.) has dimensions of 66 3/4 H x 32 7/8 W x 34 D. A small amount of space may be needed on the top, sides and back as well, for air clearance; you can view the necessary space in the manuals for the models, linked on our GE website. If you look at refrigerator options on our GE website, you can filter by dimensions as well as cubic ft. We hope this information is helpful. If you have a specific model you'd like to check on we're always happy to help, here or over social media. We're glad to assist with any other questions or concerns as well. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA

A:AnswerHello- We are so sorry that you are having this issue with your refrigerator. There are many things this could be and we recommend reaching out to GE Consumer Service to get this properly diagnosed.
In the meantime, we recommend resetting the electronics by flipping the breaker off for at least 5 minutes. During this time, don't open the doors and then restore power and allow a couple hours. Please take a look at the following troubleshooting link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21631 If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are always happy to help! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHello there - thanks for asking this question. Yes, the refrigerator you mentioned (GZS22IYNFS) does carry the California Prop 65 claim. We take safety very seriously and the presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us directly and we'll be more than happy to help. Take care, Kelsey@GEA
A:AnswerHello. We appreciate you reaching out about a new refrigerator, and your loyalty as a GE consumer! We certainly understand how important the appearance of your refrigerator is, and why you may want to add wood panels. At this time, our GE refrigerators are not designed to fit custom panels. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause, and will certainly send feedback on this matter to our Refrigerator Design team. We are happy to help with any other questions or concerns you may have. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHey there,
Thank you so much for reaching out. Any of the drawers that do not have a humidity control do not have a setting. Any humidity in the drawers will be the same as the refrigerator. Let us know if you have additional questions. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHello - We appreciate your interest and we are happy to help! The refrigerator model GSS25IYNFS has one year warranty. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA
A:AnswerYou do not need to connect a waterline to this unit to operate it. Just make sure the power switch to the icemaker is switched off first to prevent damage to it. The refrigerator this one replaced we used for 16 years with no water supply, and we verified the same operation with this new one before installing.
P.S.-It is wise to let the new refrigerator sit for 24 hours before plugging it in and powering it up, in order to let the refrigerant settle properly within the system. Not doing so can shorten the life of the unit. And, frankly, you should want to also wait until the new fridge is cold before transferring food to it. Keep the old fridge for the 15-day review period, then contact Best Buy to have it hauled away for 30 bucks. It costs the same whether they take it the day they deliver your new refrigerator, or wait a couple of weeks and come back.
A:AnswerYES ! Doors of fridge can be taken off to meet your needs.
However, it is important to take into consideration where you buy your appliances; I bought mine at Best Buy, and they did it ! Others stores may NOT do it, so ask before you buy it.
A:AnswerHello - We appreciate your interest in this beautiful refrigerator and we are happy to help! The model GSS25IYNFS comes with dark gray sides; we do not offer light gray sides as an option. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA
