• Hello Rose - Thank you for your patience while we found this information. The minimum spacing (with shelf/pan in lowest position) is ~ 5 ½”. The shelf/pan combo can then be adjusted upwards based on additional ribs by 2” increments with a total of 9 slots. Please let us know if you have any more questions! - John
