Hi Dipan, was your refrigerator delivered new in box or open box? If your fridge was delivered new in box there should be a filter included. If your fridge was delivered open box there may not be a filter or bypass filter plug installed. Make sure that your water is turned on and that the fridge has a filter or bypass filter plug installed. If there is not filter or plug installed the water and ice dispenser will not function. According to the manual a filter or bypass plug is required for ice and water dispenser to function. I will attached a photo from the manual that displays this information. In order to obtain a free bypass plug you can contact GE and they can ship you one. Make sure to take note of what style filter or bypass plug you need because there are a few styles available.
