how much ice does the ice maker make/hold? doesn't seem like it would be much being in the door. null

Hi RJ - Thanks for considering GE! Space Saving Ice, which is an icemaker located on the left fresh food door, makes approximately 3.6 pounds of ice per day. The bucket stores 3.8 pounds of ice that can be dispensed through dispenser on the door or by removing the ice bucket from the door. We’d love to have you in the family. While I’ve never run out of ice with this refrigerator, I’ve also not had a huge demand at any given time. Even with my last LG refrigerator, it ran out during the holidays when a lot of people were using it. My best guess would on the size of the ice storage is that it’s almost equal to a fairly good size bucket you typically see in a hotel room. It’s not big enough to accommodate many people at one time, but more than enough for casual use. With casual use meaning getting a glass of ice 3-5 times daily. I know this is vague but I’m so happy with this refrigerator’s overall performance.
