“The refrigerator has been making the "normal" noises but lately it has started making a very loud buzzing sound. It is usually when the ice maker has dropped and is filling. We have had the fridge for a year and it just now started this very loud noise.”

Hi Rick - The icemaker will make a buzzing sound when it's trying to fill with water. If the buzzing noise can be heard approximately every 15 minutes, check and make sure the water is turned on to the icemaker. This is most likely to occur with a brand new installation or if you have had your household plumbing worked on.
