Hi 80child- Our refrigerators continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible. We realize the kitchen is a popular gathering place. When the surrounding noise level is low, you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. We suggest to scroll down the page and check out Ratings & Reviews. Reviews can vary since the type of installation (built-in or freestanding), floor type (wood, tile) and room acoustics can all affect the normal operating sounds that you may hear.
