Hi unhappy- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your purchase! We are sorry to hear of your disappointment and glad to offer assistance. You must remove the shipping material just before sliding the washer into place. There will be either a shipping rod, Styrofoam shipping material, or cardboard base and cardboard cone. If the shipping material has not been removed, the washer will vibrate and be noisy. We suggest to view the following link regarding the sounds you may hear: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21894 - Also, see page 17 of the Installation Instructions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90567.pdf - To stop the washer or cancel a wash cycle, hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. If you want to "Pause" the cycle, press the Start/Pause button. Pressing Pause will unlock the lid (if locked at that time), pause the cycle and the Pause indicator light will blink. To continue the cycle, press Start again. NOTE: Machine will automatically cancel and drain when water is present and the lid is left open for 15 minutes or the unit is left in a paused state for 24 hours with the lid closed. Select cycle and press Start to begin new cycle. We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
