• The wash cyle is very loud. It is a repeatious grinding sound that goes on and on. The spin cyle is very loud drowning out every other sound in the laundry room and beyond. You hear a clear and loud knocking sound that could be someone at your front door. Both the washer dial and the dryer dial/controls are unnecessarily complex. I know what I need the machines to do. I do not need or want the dials to offer me their opinions of what the machines are set to do. The wash tub capacity and the dryer capacity are larger that my previous GE space saver unit (circa 2002).
