“I had an old GE Profile JP350BCBB, with a dimension of W 30", D 20 7/8", and H 3 1/4". I would like to purchase GE JP3030DJBB. Unfortunately, the installer said it will not fit, since the required cutout height is 8.375". Is this correct? Which one fits?”

The unit itself is approx 3 inches high. Installer will need to explain to you why he or she needs those five extra inches.
