Hello manneke! Great question! We appreciate your interest in GE Appliances, and we're glad to hear from you regarding these cooktops. These two models are very similar. The only difference between them is the power boil. The JGP3530 has a power boil measuring 18,000 BTU (British Thermal Units) and the JGP3030 has 15,000 BTU. Both also have the same width of 30". You can find this information on the product pages of both models. If you should have any other questions, please reach out to us on social media or our website. Hope this helps! -SylviaGEA
