“Does model number JTS5000SNSS have an option for conventional bake, or its limited to convection bake only? (ie, can we bake without the fan turning on?)”

• If you don't want to use the fan, don't choose confection bake. Just choose the bake option. I usually use Confection Bake, so I don't know if the fan ever kicks on occassionally using plain Bake or not.
