“Please help... After my GE wall oven (1 yr Old) reached 350,degrees, I opened the oven door, and did notice fan slowing down. However, I put on oven light, and fan is NOT going around while something is baking?? Is this normal???”

Hey there, and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. We hate to hear you are unsure whether the fan in your wall oven is functioning normally, and know that would be a concern. The fan will turn on and off during the cooking cycle, depending on the cooking mode that has been selected. Both the fan and the heating elements are run at certain times to create the optimal heat distribution for an even bake performance. The fan and heating elements will also shut off when the door is opened.
