• A:Answer Model GTS22KGNRWW is ready to be used in a garage, but you do not have to place it in a garage if you prefer not to. The refrigerator should be installed in an area where the temperature won’t go below 38°F and won’t go above 110°F. More information about the location requirements is available on page 10 of the manual; that can be viewed on the Best Buy product page for the model when you click the 'From the Manufacturer' section and scroll to the bottom. Regarding the LED lighting, that would need to be replaced by an authorized technician.

Q: QuestionI have had this unit since last June/July. The freezer has never gotten to 0. Lowest temp is 10 and right now around 15 or so. Is the unit defective? Anyone else with this unit getting the freezer to 0?

• A:Answer The freezer in this refrigerator operates between -5 and +8 degrees F. To properly check the temperature, Use a bulb type or candy thermometer that is capable of measuring below zero degrees. Place the thermometer in between two packages of food that have been in the freezer for more than 24 hours as close to the middle of the freezer as possible and leave it there for at least three minutes. Putting the thermometer in ice cream that has been in the freezer for at least 12 hours is the best way to check the temperature. Ambient temperatures, direct sunlight, door openings, and low food load are all possible causes of a freezer not reaching proper temperatures.

Q: QuestionFor the GE 21.9 Top freezer refrigerator what are the handles made of are they plastic or metal? I realize the handle itself that you pull on is metal but what about the part where it screws in is that part plastic or metal also,
