A:AnswerThese new stoves seem to have a temperature sensor in the center of the burner. If that goes bad then the burner may not work. My suggestion would be to replace the burner with the older style without the sensor if you can find them. If not then replace the burner with the sensor and see if that works.
A:AnswerHello. We appreciate your interest in this electric range, and are glad to assist. The oven temperature for this model can be adjusted in 25 degree increments, pressing the + or – pads. Regarding the temperature increments on the burners, we regrettably do not have an exact temperature range associated with each burner. It will cycle on and off, with the frequency depending on the setting. The size of the pan, food being cooked, material of the pan, etc., also make providing a temperature range difficult. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and are happy to help if you have any other questions or concerns. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA

A:AnswerI did not pay best buy to haul away my old stove. I actually just put it outside on trash day and someone picked it up for scrap. That's what I typically do with my appliances.

A:AnswerHello Shar -We appreciate your interest in this trustworthy range. Ovens such as this one, that do not have convection, use traditional heat from the bake and broil elements. A convection unit adds a fan inside the oven to circulate this heat and cook faster and more evenly. We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA
