This range does have an auto shut off feature for the oven; it will automatically turn off the gas after 12 hours of continuous operation. However, the burners on the cooktop do not have this feature and must be manually shut off. Our knobs are designed to be pushed in prior to turning as a safety measure. Extended contact with the knobs, such as leaning against them, should be avoided.
