A:AnswerHi Tom! We appreciate your question and interest in our appliances. We found that the dimensions of the unit's box is 30 4/5" L X 32 9/10" W X 40 3/5" H. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
A:AnswerHi Tina38 - Thank you for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you choosing this double-oven range for your home and are very sorry to hear of the issues you are having with the temperature in your upper oven not properly adjusting. We are happy to offer you some guidance in this! When starting a Continuous or Timed Bake in the upper oven, after you press the Bake pad, followed by the Start pad, the oven will automatically start at 350 degrees F. If a different cooking temperature is desired, use the 1-5 number pads or Timer pad to select a different preset cooking temperature, then press Start. - The inconsistency between what you are seeing and the temperature you are setting may be since no feedback is given during a temperature change. We would recommend that you refer to page 12 of your Use and Care Manual to ensure that you are properly setting and adjusting your temperatures. If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page online so that we can get more details on your situation and offer you further troubleshooting support. Please include your name, address, phone number, email address, and the model and serial numbers for your appliance. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHello JP,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. You do not need a special hood BTU when using the steam cleaning function. We recommend checking page 18 of the owner's manual for more information about the steam cleaning. Best wishes! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHello BakingPies,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to assist you. We would recommend using the convection bake on the lower oven and placing the pies on rack positions 2 and 4. Be sure to stagger the pies so that one is not above the other. You can check out our cooking guide on page 16 of the owner's manual. https://files.bbystatic.com/oVZawSst6mH2A19PjUXAig%3D%3D/93afba3f-f3b6-4cd7-9252-6fa36cc2d84a.pdf. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

A:AnswerHi Tony - Thanks for considering GE! Model JGBS86SPSS is manufactured in Mexico. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. Visit "Made in America": https://www.geappliances.com/ge/usa/ - We'd love to have you in the family, Tony. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

A:AnswerI just had a gas line and it works beautifully. One oven for me and one oven for my teenager son. There is peace in our house when we want different things for dinner.
A:AnswerHi there! Thanks for your question. The oven heat will come from the bottom but the fan in the back of the lower oven will engage when using Convection Baking. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA
A:AnswerThe previous answer is incorrect. This model has a dark gray cooktop. The Premier model is matte black. This oven will not match other black appliances.

A:AnswerThe information about accessing the special features menu is incorrect in the documentation that came with the range and in the owner's manual online and also in the answer given by the GE representative in the previous response. I could not access the special features menu even after spending 30 minutes on the phone with the GE support desk. I set up a repair appointment, but just now someone from GE called me to explain that the correct way to access the menu is to hold down the Bake and Warm keypads on the Lower Oven control pad. That worked for me so the service call was not needed.
