How do you clean the oven racks? null

I put my oven racks in my big plastic laundry sink in my laundry room to soak. A friend of mine lays an old bath towel in her bathtub, sets the oven racks on the towel and soaks them with hot soapy water in the tub.

The racks can be washed with warm, soapy water. We recommend they be cleaned by hand with an abrasive cleaner or steel wool.
