This model has a centrifugal or dual blower type (often referred to as squirrel cage fan). It will drawer equally on both sides. The CFM rating at MEDIUM fan speed is 250 CFMs. Here's a list of the CFM and sones: 350/6.6 (Boost Speed) 340/5.1 (High Speed) 150/1.0 (Working Speed) Note: The High fan option does not turn off the same way as Low and Med. If you hold High for 2 seconds, it will activate BOOST whereas if you hold Low or Med or 2 seconds it will activate the auto shut off. Joyce@GEAppliances
