Q: QuestionCan you please tell me if the "finish" on this particular slate Range Hood is "mattte" finish?The finish does not appear to be shiny, but more matte, is that the case?

• A:Answer Good day, We'll be happy to answer your question! The grease filters are required for use at all times when using the vent. However, the charcoal filters are only required when using recirculating (internal) venting. If venting externally, then only the grease filters are required. Have a wonderful day! Mike@GEA

Q: QuestionHello! I need to purchase a recirculating kit for this model, but the recommended kit UXCF72 shows round charcoal filters, not square as in the hood itself. Please advise.

• A:Answer This model is intended to be wired directly into the house wiring. The house wiring enters through the back or top of the hood and connects to the hood inside the junction box. Instructions for the electrical details can be found on the Best Buy website under the Features tab. Scroll down to the Installation Guide. See page 3 under Power Supply and page 9 under Electrical Connection.
