Awful!
Worst experience with any kind of appliance and install. Installers have never installed this unit before and didn’t know how to convert it to recirculate. The install instructions say to convert to recirculating you must secure wall diverter plate but doesn’t mention what a wall diverter plate actually is. It also says to purchase charcoal filters but fails to give a part number for you to purchase. I have scoured the internet to find answers and there is nothing other than other reviews saying the same thing as me. This is absolutely useless to me. It is half installed on my wall bc the installers didn’t know what to do! So I have an ugly shrink wrapped hunk of metal above my stove. Do not purchase if you need your hood to recirculate. This is clearly not meant for that! Unacceptable. No one at Best Buy knows what to do either. I don’t want an automated response to this review either that says to contact you. You have my information so you contact me and make this right!

tall and sucky.. lol
Fan speed is phenomenal. I can't say I bought this hood for any other reason than to match my other LG Black Stainless appliances. There's a lot of cheaper options out there that will perform similarly. Bad news is also the finish on this hood does scratch easily. Good news is that the hood extension it came with was move than tall enough to reach the ceilings in our 9' kitchen.

Good! Does the job while looking nice but…
Over a year in and still love it! It is somewhat loud especially once you get past level 3 on exhaust. The touch buttons work well but if your hands are wet or if like me you run cool it can be difficult to press. Overall aesthetic and function are great!
