“Can I install this microwave hub like any wall oven or microwave instead of over the range?”

You could as long as there is a secure Cabinet above the hub as there are 2 mounting bolts on top to support the top of unit.

Hi DSK -Thanks for viewing GE Model UVH13012MSS! This is not a microwave. The Kitchen Hub is the first-of-its-kind integrated smart-touch screen and ventilation combo that fits above your range or cooktop. It cannot be installed in a cabinet like a wall oven or built-in microwave. It is not compatible with a trim kit. If you will not be using the exhaust (vent) feature, it does not have to be installed above a range. It must be mounted to both a top cabinet and a back wall.
