Start with a 7" round duct take-off at top of hood. Remove the semi-round and also the rectangular piece next to it. Buy a 7" round duct take-off. Install with screws in existing holes or drill new ones. Be careful to not damage interior. Extend the 7" round duct to the outside (roof or side exterior wall). Install a roof jack or a side wall external damper cover with screen cover (to protect from varmints). Some variation may have to be made if connecting to an existing installation. Enjoy!
