“Remodeling our kitchen. We have close to 4 ft from stove top to ceiling. We are not venting to the outside. What would the hood look like with 4 ft of clearance to ceiling? I want it to be close to ceiling with appearance of venting outside.”

Hello- Thanks for your interest in our 30" Convertible Range Hood. This is a really beautiful hood! The installation height should be measured from the cooking surface to the lowest part of the hood. This hood must be installed onto a wall. It can either be vented to the outdoors, or it can be installed for recirculating operation. The hood would look unfinished if you left a 4 foot space to the ceiling. We recommend getting the duct cover. It can be adjusted for ceilings between 7' 3/4" and 9' depending on the distance between the bottom of the hood and the cooktop.
