“My range was installed too high and the range top is 1/2 taller than the counter. Will this work even though it is only 1/4 inch high.”

It will help reduce the appearance of it being to high since this glues to the countertop with its adhesive

For this kit to fit, it must be compatible with your range and you must adjust the range's height so that the top of the cooktop is 3/8” higher than the countertop and is leveled. We recommend checking the range installation instructions on how to adjust the height.
