Hi vvv - Thanks for considering GE Model GVS04BQNSS! Yes, the unit will hold 109 cans or 31 bottles (up to 125 cans if a shelf is removed). You can set the desired temperature between 38ºF. and 61ºF. Red Wines are generally stored at 50-67F. I had the same question - I looked up and according to the specs it says: Easily set the exact right temperature for your beverages between 41-61 ˚ F.
