• Hello, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question! If it has been necessary to transport the portable air conditioner on its side/back, it should be stood upright for an equal amount of time as it was on its side/back before plugging it in. If it was on its side/back for more than a day, leave standing for 24 hours before running. If it was laying on its side/back just briefly to service, clean, or adjust, then just a few minutes of stand time will be enough. Hope this helps! Mike@GEA
