• No it does not. You download an app from your smartphone and control it through there

• It seems like the app is stand alone. I have two Alexa units in my home and I don't see any way of connecting the app to them.

• The instructions say it does. Haven’t tried it yet. But does have an app you can set up on your smartphone to control the unit from wherever you happen to be.

• My Alexa did not find the AC but on their site it says it works with their Geneva App https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=34224

• I think it can but I use the app through my phone. I was able to turn it on from the parking lot of the supermarket some 5 miles away. It was running when I got home. Pretty cool.
