“I need to replace the range hood and it needs to be mounted about 30 inches above the cook top due to my height. I want to make sure the motor is powerful enough to draw cooking odors, etc. What is the minimum CFR I should look for? Thanks.”

Hello. Thanks for reaching out! Our installation instructions list a minimum installation height for the vent hood when it is installed over a cooking surface. Although we do not have a maximum installation height for a hood, the higher it is installed, the more the efficiency starts to decrease.
