“Is this top part of the GE Profile series and is there any stainless in or on the top”

• Hi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE cooktop. This is a GE brand model not a Profile. The only stainless is the frame that surrounds the glass cooktop itself. It's a beautiful cooktop and we hope you choose GE for your home. Vikki@GEA

• It is a basic GE cooktop, not Profile. There is no stainless on the top.
