“When was this model first manufactured, basically want to know if it will be discontinued in the next few years”

Hi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE gas cooktop. We initially introduced this model in the Fall of 2017. We've received no indication at this time of the intent to discontinue this model. If the business makes the decision to discontinue this model, repair parts will continue to be available for a number of years. We do hope you choose GE for your home. All our best! Vikki@GEA
