“I need to replace a 36 over the range Kitchenaid Microwave...parts no longer available. I cannot tell from the pictures if under the microwave the space between the bottom of the microwave and the cabinets...about 3 inches on each side are also covered.”

Hello, thank you for your question. This microwave filler kit is designed for select 30" wide microwaves that are installed in place of 36" wide microwaves. This filler kit will fill the 3" gap on either side of the 30" microwave such that there does not appear to be open space on the sides of the microwave. We hope this helps!
