Hi edwin251 - Yes, you can use granular or liquid detergent in this washer. Also, the Delicates cycle utilizes a unique “tri-pulse” extra gentle agitate profile and a low spin speed to provide special care to delicate fabrics and can use used for hand wash items. Yes, you can use either granular or liquid detergent, can also use powdered. Does not have to be the High Efficiency detergent though you can use that if you want. Delicate is for hand wash items, but if you’re concerned, put them in a laundering bag or pillowcase for extra protection.
