Hi MicheleC, thanks for reaching out about this! The bottom of page 15 in your Owner's Manual offers some diagrams about load size and water level that you may find helpful! The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. - It is not recommended to manually add more water to the washer. Some models have a Deep Fill option which adds additional water to the wash load, regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill. We hope that this helps! If you have other questions, please feel free to send us an email or reach out to us on social media. Stay safe. -Michael
