Mickey, That's a good thing. When you take the clothes out of the washer they are just about damp. This helps them dry faster and saves wear and tear on your Dryer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mickey - Thanks for choosing GE GTW335ASNWW! We are happy to address your concern regarding the spin cycle. It is normal for the spin cycle time to be longer than previous models and even longer than the wash cycle. Longer spin times are driven by the newer energy standards requiring washing machines to reduce the amount of water left over in clothes. This will improve dry times. Also, if an out-of-balance condition is detected by the washer, the Spin light will blink during the remaining portion of the cycle and will stay illuminated for a short time after cycle completion. When this occurs, the washer is taking actions to correct the out-of-balance condition and complete the cycle normally. In some cases, the washer may not be able to balance the load and spin up to full speed. If you notice the load is more wet than normal at the end of the cycle, redistribute the load evenly in the wash basket and run a Drain & Spin cycle. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. We are always eager to help! Sue
