Hello Jams, thank you for reaching out about this! There is not a dedicated installation kit required to vent out of the side of this unit. You will, however, need to purchase part number WE49X22606 to cover the hole in the rear of the unit. For instructions on how to vent from the side, we recommend you check out page 21 of the owner's manual found on our website. We hope this helps!
