“I am replacing a Kenmore drop in. My cabinetry has a 30 inch cut out for the range. However, there is a 1/2 overhang from the counter on either side, making the opening at the top effectively 29 inches. Will the overhang interfere with installation?”

We recommend consulting the cutout dimension requirements that are shown on page 1 of the Installation Guide, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Section 2 provides detailed illustrations and measurements which will help you measure your space to ensure a good fit. Lauren@GEAppliances
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It might. The cabinet opening for my range was 30”. The range itself had a 1” lip to rest onto the counter and the range is pretty flush to the Hope this helps.
