This is a large Washing machine, I don't think a large comforter would be a problem at all.

Yes, this washer can wash a king size comforter without damaging the machine so long as you choose the appropriate wash cycle for the load. Obviously, the thickness, density, and overall size of the comforter should be taken in account when deciding whether to wash the comforter in a washer. For bulky items, such as a comforter, you need to set it on the "Bulky Items" cycle and you'll also manually select the load size. Detailed information on getting the washer ready to wash a bulky comforter can be found on page 10 (the 4th row explains the best settings for bedding and bulky items): https://files.bbystatic.com/CPyEVasqZ%2BZzAzKphDnN5g%3D%3D/F286593F-2DB5-4DBA-A0F1-4D5BFEFA5780.pdf. Additionally, make sure that the comforter fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly. We hope this is insightful!
