“Does the soak only work for certain cycles? I chose a 15 minute soak on the speed cycle option and it passed over the soak and went straight to washing the clothes. Do you also have to choose it before you push start?”

Make your choices before pushing start. I have used the soak option twice with no problem just be sure to make all your selections prior to starting. If you forget push and hold stop for 3 seconds and then make make your selections again.

The Auto Soak option begins with a brief agitation, soaks for a specified period of time, then moves through the rest of the cycle automatically. Auto Soak can be used with the Speed Wash cycle. We recommend the following settings when using speed wash and auto soak: Warm temperature, Normal/Medium soil level, Normal spin, then auto soak.
