“What is the normal spin cycle time for white & colors? My machine is spinning for over 5 min on each of these cycles. It seems like the machine is "stuck" on the spin cycle I turn the machine off thinking that I might burn the motor out.”

• 5 minutes isn't a long time to spin.

• Hi, Thanks for asking! We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we'd like to help. We determined that the drain and spin portion of a normal wash cycle is around 10 minutes long. When different spin options are selected (like Extra Spin) , the total wash time will increase. We hope this helps. Take care! -Sylvia@GEA
