“When we choose the precise fill option, the washer doesn't do anything. It doesn't fill with water or lid lock. Any suggestions?”

Close the lid. The water should start. The lid will lock. Three short bursts of water. Then the water will start flowing in and lid will unlock. Water will continue filling the tub.

The Precise Fill allows the washer to determine the optimum water required to wash items in the basket. The tub needs to have the clothes inside in order for it to work properly.
