To my knowledge this machine does have a computer board despite the “old” look with dials. For what I have learned over time almost all manufacturers have opted to using computers to meet the new environmental standards. The model I suggest you look for is made by Speed Queen... although it will cost you more than a pretty penny, it is built like the old Maytag machines were, purely mechanical controls with top of the line materials - made to last through the ages.
