No, we didn’t have to buy the drain hose
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Susie - The drain hose is included with the washer. Hot/Cold Inlet Hoses are sold separately. We strongly recommend the use of new water supply hoses with your new washer. Hoses degrade over time and need to be replaced every 5 years to reduce the risk of hose failures and water damage. We suggest to view page 18 of the Installation Guide at the following link (Parts Supplied- Parts Required): https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Also, failures due to improper installation are not covered under warranty. It covers any part (included) of the washer which fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Warranty details are provided on page 27 of the Owner's Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Thanks for choosing GE. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - We are always eager to provide assistance. Sue
