“Do you have to buy the drain hoses in order to get your one year warranty? I was told by the sales person if you didnt buy the 29.00 hoses it would void your warranty?”

We strongly recommend the use of new water supply hoses with your new washer. Hoses degrade over time and need to be replaced every 5 years to reduce the risk of hose failures and water damage. We suggest to view page 18 of the Installation Guide at the following link (Parts Supplied- Parts Required): https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Also, failures due to improper installation are not covered under warranty. It covers any part (included) of the washer which fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
